Review:
I really, really enjoyed this book. I loved, not only the main character, but all of the side characters as well, and loved finding out about this other world.

When I bought this, I didn't really know what it was about, and when I started reading and encountered the angels, I thought... oh, no. I haven't had any good experience with angels in books, especially "fallen" angels. So, I felt a bit apprehensive. However, in this book, I thought it worked really well. I also thought the "monsters" were a really unique part of this book, I haven't found something like that in any other books I've read.

Sometimes in this particular genre, you can sort of figure out how everything is going to go after reading 50 pages. This was different. There were plenty of surprises and plot twists, and it was quite an exciting read. The ending was good, and I can't wait to read the next one!

I would recommend this to anyone who likes young adult fantasy.
