Review:
Finally, I've gotten around to reading the second book in this series! It's been quite some time since I read the first one, but it didn't take me that long to get back into the story.

I quite enjoyed this book. Parts of it were really exciting, while other parts were a bit slower and focused more on character development. I really enjoyed the setting of Oden's Ford - the town in which the characters spend a lot of time.

There were some parts of this I didn't like, and those were the ones with the romance aspects. I felt like people fell for each other left and right, and I found it annoying and unnecessary. It didn't really feel like it fit that well to the story in my opinion, because it didn't feel realistic (it could just be me though, as romance has a tendency to annoy me).

Overall, this was a good book, and I love the world and the characters in this series. This particular story does have a bit of a middle book feel though, but it's made me very excited to find out what will happen next.
