Review:
I've sort of fallen off the wagon of reading short story collections this year, but this book reminds me why I love them so much and really need to get around to reading more of them.

This collection is fantastic. It captures the characters wonderfully, the writing is fantastic and the themes are fascinating. The stories really draw you in and makes it possible to connect to the characters despite not having that many pages with each. It's an imaginative collection and feels both real and unreal at the same time.

The book is funny, unapologetic and bold, and I especially enjoyed the women in it. The author writes them like real people; in all their complexity, with faults and desires and everything that comes with being a woman.

It's very rare that a collection of stories get the highest rating from me, as there always seems to be one or two stories that isn't quite up there. This is a very strong four stars though and it's up there with the best short story collections I've read.
