Review:
Whew! Another exciting and compelling book in this series - we're almost at the end, but I can't even guess how it will end.

As stated in the previous reviews, I love the world this is set in and the characters are wonderful and fascinating. This particular book has a lot of politics in it, which is what I love reading about most in these kinds of books, so this was very interesting for me.

I didn't feel it dragged on or flattened out at any one point, but kept a steady pace all the way through - perhaps a little bit too steady. The ending is pretty mellow, so mellow that I kept waiting for something drastic to happen, but it didn't. There's a little bit of setup for a mystery to be solved in the next book, but other than that, nothing.

That being said, I am excited to read the next and final book in this series, to see how it all ends for these characters I have grown so fond of.
